TEACHING PHILOSOPHY:
LEARN, IMPROVE, HAVE FUN. I believe that my main objective with all students is to assist them in having fun with golf. Every golfer is an individual and has different needs with respect to their enjoyment of the game of golf. For some it may be swing fundamentals while for others short game. Still others may need equipment changes or help with their mental approach to the game. A proper diagnosis to find the key components to work on is imperative.

Once we have determined what the student needs to work on, a cooperative/coaching approach is implemented. I strongly believe that both the student and instructor/coach must be involved in the learning process. Continuous feedback is critical to positive change.

My instruction background is strongly influenced by Jim Hardy and Jim Flick. I believe we all have unique athletic and mental abilities which make our golf games our own. No two swings are the same because no two golfers are the same. I try to take the appropriate science of golf and combine it with the art of golf. All great players have their individual styles.

I will utilize video/computer swing analysis, training aids, and drills to help students understand and gain a feeling that is important in their development both in the full swing as well as the short game.

LET’S HAVE FUN!
